The mission of Walnut Street Center is to provide adults who have Intellectual Disabilities with opportunities to make meaningful choices.

Walnut Street Center has just over one hundred and fifty employees. Our Direct Support employees mirror the rich cultural diversity of our surrounding communities. Countries such as Portugal, The Dominican Republic, Haiti, Vietnam, Ireland, Brazil, Uganda, Kenya, Cameroon, Nepal, Nigeria, Italy and South Africa are representative of the ethnic diversity of our community; the people who receive services and the Walnut Street Center workforce.
