Common Questions
Who does Walnut Street Center serve?
We provide services to adults with intellectual disabilities who are 22 years and older. Eligibility varies by program and may require DDS funding or MA Health qualification.
What insurance do you accept?
We accept MA Health for qualified individuals. WSC also accepts private pay for all services.
How do I refer someone for services?
For Day Services, contact our Director of Operations at 617.629.3589. For Residential Services, all referrals are made through the Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
Is transportation provided?
Transportation to and from Day Programs is provided by MA Health for Day Habilitation and by DDS for Community-Based Day Support.
