Walnut Street Center is currently re-assessing its services to improve the supports the agency provides to adults who have developmental disabilities and their families. Walnut Street Center would like to hear from the siblings of the people we serve to find out how we can become a resource to them as well. The agency is aware that many siblings are becoming more responsible for the coordination of care for their brothers or sisters as their parents age. Political/Advocacy - Political Events at the State House or in Somerville that advocate for people with developmental disabilities. Local/Regional Organizations - Events organized by other organizations that support adults with developmental disabilities. Walnut Street Center's Official 35th Anniversary Event - This event recognizes the original families that started the agency (Cambridge Marriott Hotel, 7-10 pm, Saturday October 1, 2005).
